Century Ballroom has been a cornerstone of the Seattle dance community for 28 years, led by Hallie Kuperman. We are lovers of dance, deeply embedded in these communities, and we want to continue the mission and protect the precious resource of this beautiful historic space.
As rents go up, venues disappear, and we live in an increasingly uncertain world, our access to dance, creative expression, and connection become even more essential.
We have officially signed the lease!!! We get keys April 1st, 2025, and will begin renovations, keeping one ballroom open at a time for classes and dancing.

We envision a vibrant, inclusive space where dance, performing arts, and community cross-pollinate. Our mission is to provide a lasting home for local creatives and ensure a place where all can share, learn, and celebrate—while building a financially resilient business.
While putting the arts at the forefront, we'll also host corporate events, private parties, and weddings. Our goal is to create a self-sustaining venue that pays living wages, offers accessible pricing, and fosters excellence and collaboration for years to come.
